Versions and Differences

Windows CE 3.0 is the version of the operating system.  The Handheld PC 2000 is version 4.0 of the applications and the shell.  The Handheld PC 2000 uses ActiveSync 3.1 for synchronization. The Handheld PC 2000 is still no longer limited to using 16 MB of ram for internal storage (the object store). Now you can use up to 256 MB of internal ram for internal storage.
