Compaq GSM/GPRS Phone Sleeve Quick Review
By Chris De Herrera, Copyright 2002
 Version 1.00  Revised 3/21/2002

Introduction

I got a chance to take a quick look at the Compaq GSM/GPRS sleeve recently . It is a tri-band GSM phone so you can use it worldwide if your carrier offers the service.  If your phone is not Simlocked you can use your card in the GSM/GPRS sleeve.  Also, right now GPRS is very expensive here in the US and Europe.

Conclusion

I really liked the size of the sleeve - it's a little thinner than the PC Card sleeve that Compaq is selling.  I really wish it had the removable battery like the new PC Card and CompactFlash sleeves do..
