Introduction

So you want a Pocket PC and Tablet PC? Well you can get both with the DualCor cPC!  I met with Steve Hanley, President of DualCor at the Lunch at Piero's event where I saw the DualCor cPC.

Specs

The DualCor cPC is about 1.1 pounds and has a 800 x 480 5" display with 200 nits of brightness.  Under the hood, the cPC is using the Via C-7 processor at 1.5 GHz with 1 GB of DDR2 ram and 2 USB 2.0 ports as well as a VGA port and CompactFlash Type II slot.

Operating Systems

The cPC is actually 2 computers in one.  The C7 processor is used to run Windows XP, Tablet PC Edition 2005.  The Pocket PC is running Windows Mobile 5.0 with AKU2.  There's a shared folder so you can move files between XP and Windows Mobile transparently.  Also, the cPC is designed to synchronize your Outlook data in XP with the Windows Mobile 5.0 system so you can take advantage of the instant on features that make Windows Mobile effective for users.
