Keynote speakers for the first trade show and conference dedicated to the Pocket PC, the Pocket PC Summit, have been finalized. Together, the five keynotes are by far the most powerful group of visionaries the wireless industry has ever gathered in one place at one time. Microsoft's Ben Waldman and Sean Burke of COMPAQ have been added to the event's already impressive array of keynotes that include Rob Tercek of PacketVideo and Intel's Peter Green.

As vice president of the Mobile Devices Division, Ben Waldman has overall responsibility for the design, development and marketing of software for mobile devices such as Pocket PCs, Handheld PCs and mobile phone products, and is also responsible for the client portion of Microsoft Corp.�s overall wireless strategy.

This is an exciting time for the Pocket PC as it matures as the future of wireless and handheld technology and Ben is one of the pioneers determining it's future. Ben will outline demonstrate why the Pocket PC will surpasses all other handheld devices.

Sean Burke of COMPAQ will be the keynote speaker Thursday, October 11, 2001 at the first Pocket PC Summit.
